For all my fellow fur moms and dads out there, this post is for you! I want to share with you some of my favorite items I have for my fur babies and hopefully hear from you about what you love as well.

Harness

Let’s talk about harnesses. I have gone through at least ten trying to find the perfect one. Here was my problem; Buddy, the bona fide escape artist that he is, would back out of them every time. This was a deal breaker for me. However, I finally found these escape free sports harnesses and I could not be more satisfied! Buddy has never been able to wiggle out of this and it’s because of the genius design that tightens the harness as the dog pulls. I’m actually very impressed with these.

You can see that the entire harness tightens the more the pup pulls. Plus, they are neoprene, so they are quite comfortable and they look super cute. Buddy wears the medium and Sadie is shown below sporting the small.

Leash

So what’s a harness without a leash? I’m partial to retractable leashes because I don’t have to worry about them getting wrapped around my dogs legs as they speed up and slow down, but it was difficult managing two leashes. I love that I found this double retractable leash all in one. It’s pretty cool because it also holds poo bags (that were already preloaded) and it has a flashlight.

I’m pretty impressed with this and love that it’s two leashes in one holder. This thing holds up on 3 miles walks daily, so it’s been durable.

Sun Hat

I’m not kidding you when I say this: I bought this hat specifically for walking the dogs. It’s my legit dog walking hat. I have spent quite a bit of time, energy and money on keeping my face from aging as much as possible and I’m not about to let the sun undo all my hard work! This sun hat is UPF 50+ protection blocks 98% of UVA and UVB rays. I really like the mesh panel that allows it to be breathable. Plus, it folds up to stash with the dog walking equipment so I have everything in one spot when I’m ready to walk the dogs because let’s be honest, they know exactly what the closet door sounds like and when I open it, there’s no time to look for a hat… they are ready to go!

Blanket

Let’s talk about this cute dog blanket! I used to just have the dogs lay on whatever blanket that was lying around… I didn’t really distinguish between human blankets and dog blankets. I also had some lap blankets that I tried to make dog blankets. I think one was a Christmas one and another was some orange thing with holes in it. I really like this one because it’s cute, the design immediately tells you it’s a dog blanket, it’s snugly and comfy for the dogs, and it matches my house!

The pooches really do like this blanket and it comes in a few different colors, so you really can’t go wrong! Plus, it saves my couch from dog hair and doesn’t look terrible on the couch. Win-win

Food Storage

How do you store your dog food and treats? If you’re looking for something adorable, search no more! Check this dog food storage and snack storage containers out!

Listen to me when I tell you that I had several shipped to my house and returned them because they were not big enough to hold what I thought was a sufficient amount of dog food. I am considering getting some vinyal paw print decals to add to them to make them look like a set, even though the font is different I think that would really complete the look because they match as far as coloring goes (black and white). I’m really happy with these and they do great sealing the food and keeping things fresh.

Pet Dish

What do you think about the wall mounted pet dishes? I’m in love with the fact that they are off the floor, which makes cleaning the floors a breeze. I also love they are ergonomic and they pop out so they are easy to clean. I’m considering doing the same vinyl paw print decals on it as well so everything matchy matches. This required very simple installation and I was able to customize the height so it’s perfect for my dogs because you can install it as high or as low as you need depending on your dogs height. They also have several sizes and colors available. The one you see here is a large. I liked it the best because I wanted to be able to have a lot of water available. This one holds about 32oz of water and both of my dogs go through that much a day so it’s perfect for us. BONUS: this could also be used for other pets, such as cats.

Beds

What comes after a hard day of walking, why a nap of course! I don’t know about your dogs, but both of mine love to burrow. They snuggle hard underneath blankets anytime they lay down (I know, they live very hard lives). I was stoked when I found these beds specifically make for burrowers!

Toy Basket

Last but not least, I can’t leave out this adorable toy basket. Again, it matches well to most any decor, so you can’t go wrong.
