PREP TIME: 10min | COOK TIME: 15min

Makes about four cups (doubles easily if needed)

I have no self control when it comes to dips, so when I find a good one, I make it sparingly because I will eat the entire serving bowl.

If you like dips, check out my favorite spinach dip recipe and keep reading below to find out how to make the best buffalo chicken dip that will have you going back for seconds (and thirds!). Let’s get started!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cans (10 0z each) chicken breast, drained
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese salad dressing
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • Fresh vegetables (celery works perfect!) and/or Tostitos chips (I like the scoops). This also goes well with assorted crackers.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place all ingredients in a deep pan on medium heat and stir until smooth.
  2. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Serve with your choice of vegetables, chips or crackers.

That is it, my friends! While this is not even close to being good for you, making this a few times a year won’t hurt you and guests (or if you’re like me you just make it for you) will enjoy it each time you make it. This is one of my favorite movie night snacks!

BONUS: DIP SERVING SOLUTIONS

I love having a bowl that separates my chips and dip. While the ones I have are no longer available, I thought I’d share some options with you for group serving and individual serving.

These bowls are similar to mine and I honestly think I like them better since they can serve more than one purpose.

Here’s another that’s similar to what I have, and while it’s made for an entirely different purpose, chips and dip would 100% work.

This plate with sauce department would work well for this recipe. It comes as a set of two and I really like the clean design.

I am impressed with these sectioned bowls and think they would work great for any dip and chip situation. Here are similar ones in a different design.

These double dipper bowls seem to offer more room for dip and have a variety of colors.

As far as serving the dip to guests, the goal is to find a dip holder that holds enough of the dip so you’re not constantly refilling it (which are difficult to find!) I own this two tier serving set and it works beautifully.

There are more traditional options such as this chip and dip serving platter.

Here’s a clear one if that’s more your style.

If you try this, I’d love to hear what you think! Also, if you have some dips, please share them with me! I’m always looking for a good dip and would love to hear about your favorites below.

I’m off to eat some dip now… I hope you try this and enjoy it as much as I do!
